She earned her Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery at Texas Tech University at Lubbock and became a Board-Certified Nurse Midwife in 2021. Her seventeen years of caring for mothers and babies in the L&D hospital setting led her to choose a career as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012 from the University of Texas at Arlington. Ginger earned her RN degree from Baptist Health System School of Health Professions in 2004 and started working in Labor and Delivery immediately after graduation. Jajal is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is Board Certified in her field of medicine. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking, reading, learning new languages, and hanging out with her dog, Lily. She is passionate about empowering her patients and helping them achieve their healthcare goals. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, provision of gender-affirming care, complex contraceptive care, and adolescent care.
During her time in residency, she won awards related to research and teaching of medical students. She received her medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. She graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and a minor in gender studies. Jajal was born in San Jose, California, but raised near Austin, Texas.
